A 60 km race experience with less physical demands and a longer time frame, starting in Cenes de la Vega towards Pradollano, with an elevation gain of +3800m and a time limit of 15 hours to complete it.
The TRAIL is the medium version of the ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA. The route, checkpoints and aid stations are the same as the 62 km from Cenes de la Vega to Pradollano, where the finish line of the three modalities is installed.
It is designed to offer an alternative with less physical demanding and a bigger timeframe for those who want to be part of the ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA environment.
TRAIL has the start line at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday 5 April at Cenes de la Vega.
TRAIL has an accumulated altitude of 3.750 m+ and 2650m-. With the character of semi-autonomy the TRAIL SIERRA NEVADA has a maximum time of 15 hours to be completed. The maximum bib numbers available are 450.

The withdrawn runners will be transferred to Granada (start of the Ultra) at the end of the refreshment area. Those who want to go to Pradollano will have to wait for the first bus leaving at 3:45h from that point.

It is also allowed the use of spiked mountain shoes specific for ice and snow races (with built-in spike system).

Every participant of the ULTRA, ULTRA R3L3VOS and TRAIL may deliver two bags, delivered by the organization when removing the bib number, with whatever material they consider they may need. One bag will be at the refreshment station established in the town of Pinos Genil and the other bag will go to the Pradollano refreshment station, before the climb, and then to META.
Both bags are delivered to the Cloakroom located at the Exit before entering the Exit Drawer.
Only bags delivered by the organization that are already identified with the bib number and place of destination will be accepted.The bag transported by the organization to the CP, Pinos Genil, will be transported to the goal wardrobe once used in Pinos Genil.The material must be, as we have commented, in the bag provided by the organization.
The MARATHON and MEDIA distances will also have this wardrobe service with a single bag that will go from the start to the finish line.
Due to the great climatological difference that exists between the different sections of the Ultra Sierra Nevada route and the impossibility of knowing for sure the time it will be during the test, the mandatory equipment indicated will be MANDATORY from start to finish.Except for CRAMPONS and WATERPROOF TROUSERS (distance ULTRA/ULTRA R3L3VOS) that can be left in the Life Bag to pick up in Pradollano.
It may seem excessive but in the mountains you never know what could happen and in the event of an accident this material is vital.
We recommend checking the weather forecast the days before to choose the material to use.

The organization has also planned a FREE shuttle bus service for all runners who finish in Pradollano and wish to go to Granada that will connect Pradollano with Granada, where the start of the Ultra Sierra Nevada took place.
