The fact of registering shows the participant&#8217;s conformity with these regulations.<\/p><p>These regulations shall be strictly enforced for all participants of the event called UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA in any of its modalities: ULTRA, R3LEVOS, TRAIL, MARATHON and HALF. Any incident not included in the same, will be resolved by the Jury of UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA, composed of a Referee Judge, the Sports Director of the event, a Member of the Organization and a ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA is organized by TerraIncognita Global SL.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c1c2f0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3c1c2f0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" elementor-element-6bd3fce elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6bd3fce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA is a 100 km long mountain race that, starting in the city of Granada, will run through the surroundings of the Protected Areas of the Dehesa del Generalife Periurban Park and the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, ending at the Pradollano Ski Resort, after reaching the summit of the Veleta at 3,100 meters of altitude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Along with UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA, the ULTRA R3L3VOS, TRAIL, MARATHON and MEDIA will be held.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ULTRA R3L3VOS shares with UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA the same itinerary and will be carried out in teams of 3 people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SECTIONS:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CENES DE LA VEGA &#8211; QU\u00c9NTAR&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">QU\u00c9NTAR &#8211; DORNAJO<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DORNAJO &#8211; PRADOLLANO\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the event that the track where the race runs between Pradollano &#8211; Estadio Superior &#8211; Pradollano, is completely covered with snow, the last section can be done by the three members of the team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otherwise, since it is a natural area, according to Natural Park regulations, this section can only be done by the team member to whom it corresponds until reaching the ski resort again where the 3 members will join to enter the finish line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TRAIL shares with UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA the same itinerary during the 62 kms that run from the town of Cenes De la Vega, where the start will be located, to the first pass of Pradollano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MARATHON shares the same route as the ULTRA and TRAIL races for the 40 km stretch from the village of Qu\u00e9ntar \u2013 where the start line will be located \u2013 to the first Pradollano pass.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HALF shares with the ULTRA, TRAIL and MARATHON the same itinerary during the 25 kms that run from the town of Pinos Genil, where the start will be located, to the first pass of Pradollano.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(From now on, all the regulations developed here for UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA are applicable to all participants of the TRAIL, MARATHON and HALF).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ULTRA will take place from Friday, April 2, 2027, starting at 10:00 p.m., until Saturday at 10:00 p.m. The race will start at Paseo del Sal\u00f3n in Granada.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TRAIL and R3LEVOS races will take place on Saturday, April 3, 2027, starting at 6:00 a.m. The race will begin in the town of Cenes de la Vega.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MARATHON will take place on Saturday, April 3, 2027, starting at 8:00 a.m. The race will begin in the town of Qu\u00e9ntar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MEDIA race will take place on Sunday, April 4, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m. The race will begin in the town of Pinos Genil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The finish line will close for ULTRA participants at 9:30 p.m. on April 3, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The finish line will close for participants in the TRAIL and R3LEVOS races at 9:00 p.m. on April 3, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The finish line will close for MARATHON participants at 8:00 p.m. on April 3, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The finish line will close for MEDIA participants at 3:00 p.m. on April 4, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7cacef3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" elementor-size-default\">Art.3 SPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b93eba7 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b93eba7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA is held with the utmost respect for the environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants must respect the environment in which the race takes place and keep the surrounding area clean. To do so, they must eat and drink WITHOUT LEAVING ANY CONTAINERS OUTSIDE THE BINS provided for that purpose. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN THE RUNNER\u2019S IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION, which may be enforced based on the testimony of any member of the race\u2019s organizing team. <\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Organizing Committee will not block traffic at any time, and participants must obey traffic laws in towns and on public roads.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who exhibit violent behavior or litter in natural areas will be disqualified from the competition. It is mandatory to respect crops, livestock, and private property in general.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of such behavior.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organization: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22ba74c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"22ba74c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20d812c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"20d812c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.4 PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c6e57d elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1c6e57d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation will be open to anyone who successfully completes both the REGISTRATION process and the required payment for the races. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">The registration fee for UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA will be subject to the payment deadlines listed on the registration page.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The registration to UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA implies the acceptance of the rules and the adequate preparation of the participant for the race, being aware of the geographical and meteorological conditions that can be found in the environment where the event takes place. In this sense, the participant exempts the Organization of possible health problems that may arise from their participation in UNICAJA ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The runners registered for the race understand that they participate voluntarily and under their own responsibility in the event, and therefore, exonerate the Organization of the race from all responsibility, and agree not to denounce the organizing entity, collaborators, sponsors and other participants; as well as not to initiate any claim of civil responsibility towards the mentioned parties.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For runners participating in the ULTRA and TRAIL modalities, it is recommended to have a medical certificate that certifies their fitness to perform efforts in the practice of sports of these characteristics. They must also fill out and sign on site at the bib pick-up the &#8220;DECLARATION OF PHYSICAL APTITUDE AND LIABILITY EXEMPTION DOCUMENT&#8221; (which will appear for information purposes next to the registration form on the official website of the race).  <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cce574e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cce574e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" specific signage created for the event. The route map will be posted on the race\u2019s official website. Any changes or modifications to the route will be announced through the same channels.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each participant must follow the entire marked course, without skipping any markers and passing through all checkpoints.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the fixed checkpoints listed on the official website https:\/\/ultrasierranevada.com, the Organizing Committee may set up \u201csurprise\u201d checkpoints\u2014either for passage or equipment\u2014at any point along the course.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each participant is required to respond to requests and questions from any race official, doctor, nurse, or aid station staff member, whether at designated checkpoints or at any other point along the course.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is strictly prohibited to receive outside assistance or refreshments during the event outside the points designated by the Organizers: these will coincide with the race\u2019s official aid stations. Similarly, it is prohibited to be accompanied by anyone other than registered participants in the event.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Participants in the various categories may receive personal assistance only within the ASSISTANCE ZONE, which will be clearly marked next to the official aid stations. Access to the aid stations themselves will be restricted to runners and their duly identified support personnel. This will be a restricted area with no public access.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Only one accredited person per runner may enter the SUPPORT ZONE at each aid station.<\/span><\/p>  <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> During bib pickup, each runner in the ULTRA, TRAIL, and MARATHON categories may request up to two support passes, which can be distributed among the various aid stations. This pass is valid only for entering the RESTRICTED ZONES designated for runners at each aid station.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Each aid station will have a specific closing time; it is mandatory to pass through the station before the established closing time in order to continue in the race.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each aid station will offer food and beverages that will vary depending on the kilometer marker where it is located. Food and beverages must be consumed at the aid station itself in sufficient quantities to ensure adequate energy reserves to reach the next one, with the exception of water, which may also be refilled in the runners\u2019 own water tanks and reservoirs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To use the aid station, it is mandatory to be wearing your race bib.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> At the Pradollano finish line area, all participants will have access to an area equipped with hot food, medical services, etc.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14aa91c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"14aa91c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-171bdb1 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"171bdb1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.9 BAG TRANSPORT AND CLOAKROOM SERVICE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9baa35 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a9baa35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each ULTRA and TRAIL runner will receive, upon picking up their race number, two bags in which they can place any supplies they think they might need at the aid stations set up in the town of Pinos Genil and in Pradollano (before the climb), which will then be transported to the finish line.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, ULTRA R3L3VOS runners will receive two additional bags for the same locations.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MARATHON and HALF MARATHON runners may drop off one bag at the start line, which will be delivered to the finish line.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These bags, provided by the organization and properly identified with the race number tag supplied by the organization, must be dropped off on the day of the race at the designated area at the starting line for each race category. Runners must drop off their bags before entering the starting corral.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only bags provided by the organizers upon bib pickup will be accepted at the baggage check.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bag will be transported by the Organization to Pinos Genil, so that the runner can take the items they need from the bag and then place any leftover items back inside.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They must return it sealed, and the Organizing Committee will transport it to the finish area in Pradollano.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Very Important: Runners who withdraw from the race and wish to retrieve their bag should note that all bags will be available in the designated area at the Pinos Genil checkpoint and aid station from 6:00 a.m. until the checkpoint closes.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Organizers will not entertain claims for loss or damage to the items contained in the bags. Therefore, it is recommended that the items inside not be fragile or valuable, and that runners ensure the bag cannot be opened during transport by securing the closure\u2014for example, with zip ties.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Organizing Committee will also provide participants in all three categories with a permanent coat check service in the bib pickup area so they can leave any items they wish to have with them upon reaching the finish line in Pradollano.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, in this case, the Organization will not check the condition of the bag or the material inside it, so it will not attend to claims for breakage of the bag and\/or the material inside it, nor for the loss of the objects it contains. Refusing to undergo a check or showing disrespect toward the doctor or assistant requesting it will result in the immediate disqualification of the runner.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> All runners are subject to the doctor\u2019s judgment whenever requested, and the medical team\u2019s assessment takes precedence over any other; therefore, doctors may:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Remove from the race (by invalidating the race number) any runner they deem unfit to continue.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Order the evacuation of any runner they consider to be in danger.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Order the hospitalization of any runner when deemed necessary.<\/span><\/p> \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2259e6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"d2259e6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-89acc23 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"89acc23\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.11 RETIRED<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ed06a0 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ed06a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Withdrawals must be made at the checkpoints. If, due to an accident or injury, a runner is unable to move and cannot reach a checkpoint, they must activate the rescue operation by contacting the organizers via the Emergency Mobile Phone.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once at the aid station, the runner must inform the aid station manager of their intention to withdraw from the race so that the manager can deactivate their race number and mark them as withdrawn.<\/span><\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that transportation to evacuate runners who withdraw will only be available at the aid stations marked as \u201cWithdrawal Checkpoints.\u201d <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will soon publish a schedule with the pickup times for withdrawn runners at the various checkpoints. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a withdrawn runner chooses to return using their own means of transportation, they must still inform the person in charge of the aid station of their withdrawal so that the person can deactivate their race number and mark them as withdrawn;
